The Complete Approach
Understand the entire problem. The first priority is understanding what is happening, who is affected and what the owner wants the final result to be.
Prioritize safety and function. Safety comes first. After safety, needs are prioritized by their effect on the property's function, occupants and cost.
Communicate the plan and expected timeline. Owners receive clear information about the problem, the response plan and any changes.
Coordinate the right qualified resources. Licensed and regulated work is directed to qualified contractors. Other needs are handled according to the agreed service scope.
Follow through and document completion. The work is not finished when a contractor is scheduled. Follow-up, documentation and communication are part of the process.
